New Call for Entries: #SpiritCraft

From the ashes of September emerges spooky season – and with it, our renewed reverence for the unseen characters inhabiting the spaces around us.

In the interest of thoroughly appreciating the intangible, Pictoplasma asks you to get hands-on – literally – and make the invisible visible by creating a sculpture of a spirit, soul or shadow.

We leave it to you to select your ethereal subject (local ghost, natural spirit, dearly departed, imaginary friend…) and your materials (any touchable media from cardboard, costume, ceramics, cakes to wool, wood, whatever...), as long as the result is corporeal and character-ful.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

  • Choose a spirit or supernatural inspiration

  • Grab the physical tools + materials of your choice and get busy cutting, folding, sawing, gluing, screwing, 3D printing, sewing, crocheting, embroidering, or anything in-between

  • Debut your spirit sculpture by taking a very good picture of the result and uploading it to your PictoHOME account (free to register)...

  • And make sure to write the official challenge hashtag #SpiritCraft in your project’s About section to enable its appearance amongst its peers below

All entries will be rewarded with deep appreciation, plus a selection of entries will additionally be shared on Pictoplasma’s social media, newsletters, etc.

DEAD👻LINE TO SUBMIT:

Sunday November 10, 2024 at midnight (all timezones)

Ghostly material manifestations beyond a simple white sheet with eye holes are welcome!

Feeling spooked already,
Pictoplasma
