Pictoplasma invites all artists, illustrators and character creators to approach characterism with an open mind – by thinking unconventionally, looking at their subject matter from a new perspective, breaking things down into digestible chunks, and creatively piecing the essence back together into a cubic data-container.

It’s time to think inside the box!

How to participate:
⊠ Create your original character as a voxel piece of art! The outcome should have a pleasantly retro pixel-like – yet three-dimensional feel, and consist strictly of isometric box-shaped blocks.
⊠ Your cuboid character should be depicted against white (# ffffff )– without background – and be fully in frame.
⊠ You’re free to use whatever tools and techniques you wish – as long as the result dares to be square.

Submit your entries by uploading them to your Picto|Home account with the hashtag #PictoCubism in the project description/about section.
The deadline for entries is September 15.
