i looked through your site and really love the whole collection! i'm glad you put a few together into one graphic like a little parade. 😄 and thanks for the tip, i will check out that resource! i admit that i'm intimidated to try animation but it's so inspiring to see how much life it can create.
This book is literally the Bible of the animation and it's very enjoyable and easy to read! Yes, learning animation can be hard, and the learning curve is steep, but when your illustration becomes alive this is a very amazing feeling. You should definitely try it!

I can't say there is something specific that inspired me, but "The Animator's Survival Kit" by Richard Williams influenced me a lot at that time
