Γεια! I am Ornella Xarikleia Akrivopoulou— artist, illustrator, and creativity mentor, based in Thessaloniki, Greece.
My experimentation and medium play, are at the centre of my creative upbringing. My Greek heritage is why I love the process of abstract story telling while the Brit in me has given me the language to share these stories!
I am a tradigital artist, all my marks originate as printmaking marks: lino cuts, collagraphs, pressure prints or monotypes. I then scan my marks in and digitally collage them into pictures. Making a mess is how I de-stress!
