IJWBAA
Pangasinan, Philippines
IJWBAA [eej-wah], aka Paul 'Pao' Hafalla, is a pioneering Filipino digital artist. His work fuses classical influences like Rothko, Venus de Milo, and Giacometti with contemporary digital techniques, exploring identity, human nature, and existence. Through bold colors, abstract forms, and layered compositions, he reinvents classical motifs in a deeply personal way.
Exhibited globally, his work is in esteemed collections, including the Getty Research Institute, Uffizi Gallery, National Museum of the Philippines, and more. As the first Filipino artist in the Techspressionism movement, he continues to push creative boundaries, transforming adversity into innovation and inspiring new digital artists.
