A secret club is an art and design-initiative founded by artist Annabelle Nielsen and graphic designer Kenn Munk. A secret club works with play as an art form.
A secret club started in London in 2009 and moved to Aarhus, Denmark in 2011, where they continue their work with creative, immersive and poetic experiences. They see themselves as situationists and often integrate psychogeography into their site specific work. They have created a playground specifically for introvert play, set up The Ornamentalist Tattoo Salon, where they tattoo peoples inner beauty on to their skin, and even opened a photo studio that allowed visitors to take pictures of their long lost and forgotten ancestors.
