Yai is a self-taught artist and designer from Madrid, Spain. She has spent 10 years in Phoenix creating art—digitally and in acrylic, spray paint on panels, canvas and murals, and now working on different clothing collections with her work on it.
Currently residing in Los Angeles, her work is a mix of fun cartoon-like characters and geometric shapes with vibrant happy colors which looks to provoke a smile in the viewer. Her work has been exhibited and featured worldwide, including the Phoenix Art Museum, La Tabacalera-Madrid, VICE creatives etc, VANS, Urban Outfitters, etc. She also has participated in several Secret Walls art battles.
