Raquel Piantino is an animator, director and art educator from Brazil, having traditional animation as a source of research and production.
She has made short films, experimental animations and commissioned films which have already been exibited in several countries. Other than digital works the artist is also the author and publisher of Flipbooks and other optical toys.
In 2019 she released the short film 'Claudia and the Crocodile' and the video clip 'After the Samba', in which she acted as director and producer.
