Joaquim Pimenta is a Creative Director, Designer, and Illustrator who is passionate about Character Design.

Graduated in Communication Design, he is based in Porto, where he currently works for the advertising industry.

Aside from commissioned works, he develops self-initiated projects aimed to freely express his skills. His creative process is triggered by moments of mindfulness provided by everyday life when characters pop out of his imagination arguing that they deserve a chance to be brought to life, since fiction can be more interesting than reality itself.
