I started using textiles in 2004 when I was living in Amsterdam. During that period, I had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with many artists. Nine years ago, I moved back to Italy, I have a beautiful daughter and my passion for creating characters remains unwavering. I specialize in handmade plush toys and have recently expanded my skills to create flat characters using recycled denim fabric, provided by "Candiani Denim," a renowned Italian factory based in Milano. I am currently working on my project and wish to dedicate my time to expressing myself through my creations. However, life can be challenging at times, particularly because handmade work is often undervalued in Italy. I am participating in your call, hoping for an opportunity to be seen and make my dream come true.
