I was always a doodler. I remember finding a 'how to draw simple people and trees' book as a child. I thought this was really cool because it empowered me to depict all kinds of things. I later got into tagging and picked up some of the Wild Style. In my studio around 2011 I started teaching myself CSS3 and HTML5. I started doing little design and web projects. I rented one of the early co-working spots. Someone had left behind a Pictoplasma book... Because I was moving around in or from art to digital to code I thought 'characters could give me a new direction'. Regardless, they added to my doodle style which since childhood was just kind of random and abstract. Adding characters, like my earlier 'how to draw' experience as a child, allowed me to expand into entirely new universes.
