Antje von Stemm is an illustrator, author and paper engineer from Hamburg / Germany. Parallel to studying illustration at the Hamburg Art College (HAW) she learned paper engineering at White Heat in Santa Fe / USA.
She is an expert in DIY-pop-up books, creative craft books, and fun video tutorials. With her books she also organizes workshops for children and adults in schools, libraries and at festivals that start off tamely and usually end in a collective handicraft spectacle.
She also makes Video-tutorials.
Some of her books have been awarded great prizes, including the German Youth Literature Prize, the WHITERAVEN and the LUCHS.
